Conference participants who bear a foreign passport may need to apply for a Chinese visa to visit China. Participants can apply for a visa at the Chinese embassy or consulate in the region where they live. To avoid any uncertainty, participants are advised to apply for the visa as early as possible,
at least one month in advance.
For most attendees, it is easier to apply for a Tourist ("L") visa.

The 240-hour visa-free transit is one of China’s visa exemption policies provided to eligible foreigners coming from selected countries.
Under the 240-hour visa-free transit policy, foreign travelers can enjoy a ten-day stay in certain Chinese cities without a visa, provided they come from 57 eligible countries, enter and exit China from eligible ports, stay within the allowed cities and regions, as well as satisfy other requirements.

Tianjin (天津), abbreviated as "Jin," is a municipality directly under the central government of the People's Republic of China, a national central city, and the largest port city in northern China. It borders the Bohai Sea to the east and the Yanshan Mountains to the north. Historically, Tianjin rose to prominence through grain transport by water and has long been known as the "convergence of nine rivers." After its opening as a treaty port in 1860, Tianjin became one of the earliest northern Chinese ports to open to the outside world, giving rise to a distinctive urban landscape where Chinese and Western elements blend harmoniously, and where tradition and modernity coexist. The city is renowned for its Western-style buildings, which form an "exposition of international architecture," as well as its vibrant local culture and nationally celebrated performing arts, particularly in traditional comic dialogues and storytelling, earning it the reputation of the "Home of Quyi" (Chinese folk performing arts).

Wudadao Cultural Tourism Area (五大道文化旅游区)
Wudadao Cultural Tourism Area, located in Heping District, Tianjin, is composed of five main thoroughfares: Machang Road, Munan Road, Dali Road, Changde Road, and Chongqing Road. It is one of the best-preserved and largest collections of modern-era Western-style buildings in China, often referred to as the "Exposition of International Architecture." The area features over 2,000 historical buildings in a variety of architectural styles, including British, French, Italian, and German. Many influential figures in modern Chinese history once resided here, lending the area significant historical, cultural, and artistic value.

The Tientsin Eye (天津之眼)
The Tientsin Eye, located in Hebei District, Tianjin, spans across the Haihe River and holds the distinction of being the world's only Ferris wheel built on a bridge, serving both transportation and sightseeing purposes. With a diameter of 110 meters, a full rotation takes approximately 30 minutes. Visitors aboard the wheel can enjoy a panoramic view of the Haihe River waterfront and the city skyline. The night view, with illuminated lights reflecting on the river, is particularly striking, making the Tianjin Eye a prominent city landmark and a signature tourist attraction.

Tianjin Italian Style Tourism Area (天津意大利风情旅游区)
The Tianjin Italian Style District, located in Hebei District, Tianjin, was formerly the only Italian concession established overseas. To this day, it has preserved a relatively complete collection of century-old Italian-style architecture, characterized by its elegant and well-arranged street layout. The district is home to numerous Western-style restaurants, cafes, and cultural exhibition venues. The nighttime lighting, combined with street performances, creates a vibrant and picturesque atmosphere. This area serves as an important window showcasing Tianjin's modern history of opening to the outside world and the cultural exchange between China and the West, while also offering visitors a pleasant sightseeing and leisure experience.
